Boat Hotel De Barge Bruges

The Boat Hotel is situated just a short walk from Bruges town centre along charming cobbled streets, making it convenient and easy to explore the area. The hotel itself is a real boat, which creates a unique and atmospheric experience. The larger superior room offered plenty of space and had wonderful views along the river. We enjoyed sleeping with the windows open as the room was warm and cozy, and there was no noise from outside to disturb us. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. The food, both breakfast and evening meals, was of a very good quality, and dining at almost eye level with the ducks on the river was a delightful touch. If you're interested in marine stuff, this is the place to be. Additionally, check-in and check-out were fast and efficient, and the hotel is very close to the train station.

The food in the restaurant at Boat Hotel De Barge was outstanding. We had the Flemish-style stew and it was incredibly rich and flavorful. The portions were generous and it was definitely worth the price. The breakfast buffet was also impressive with a wide variety of options. the dining experience was excellent.

Newly decorated place overall, it is clean, location is perfect very close to the train station. The room is well-equipped and well-appointed, comes with a fan and a spare bed stored in the room.

I had a fantastic stay on this charming boat hotel. The cleanliness was impressive and the hotel facilities were great. I loved the fact that it was located on a canal, close to a park, and within walking distance of the city center. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

View was excellent, breakfast was superb, and beds were exceptionally comfortable. I enjoyed the room, it was fancy and tidy. A bath was amazing and everything was great.

It was a really great experience, I enjoyed location and rooms. The restaurant was great with excellent staff here, I had fresh dishes. Slices of fresh bread, croissants, pastries and meats was a bonus.

Unique location, big property, comfortable beds.

The location was superb, with easy access to the city center. The nautical theme added a unique touch to the stay. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience - even mailing forgotten items back to us. Opening the cabin window to a sunrise over the water was magical. The breakfast, served with a view of the river, was delicious and offered a good variety.

Everything was alright.

We stayed at a charming hotel located just outside of the town centre. The location was perfect, with a restaurant on the edge of a canal only 5 minutes away. Our room had a nice view onto the river, with barges going past every so often. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The staff were nice and friendly, and the breakfast offered a good range of food of good quality.

The walls were quite thin, so we could hear every movement from the room next door.
